Well, I can't read
and I can't write,
but I hold those pages up to
the sunlight,
(and sometimes at night, by the
LCD laptop, halogen, sodium,
flourescent, neon beams)
only to twist my
wrists,
and vulturate my spine,
poke sweaty roll nose
down the drop goes
Splash! and smear your
grievous phrases,
your literate mazes!

Stop
You pick at the words with
white hot pokers-
Drop
quench defense!
Roll roll roll...
Illiterate, blind-
the whole damned thing's
been redefined.

Toss the steaming stifback
critter on the floor;
go back for more.

I adore what you've done here. Charm squishes out through
the screen. Hope it grows beyond your vision. I'll be back.
