I came to Jolly Roger, Kill Devil Hill and Hatteras by way of the
Princeton email lists. First time I surfed through it, I was impressed
by the level of intelligence, though it often gets too preachy for my
taste. I like it better when I get to figure out the moral of the story
myself. You'd be wise not to abuse your bully pulpit. I got a little
disturbed by something I recall from the first time I read Hatteras. It
sounded vaguely like the kind of stuff that white supremacists and
federal building bombers would use as philosophical justification for
their imminent revolution, but I can't seem to find those passages again
today. Anyway, just wanted to say that I've found your sites
interesting. You seem sincerely committed to your ideas, and while I
think they are sometimes irrelevant or immature rantings, you pursue
them with great zest and style. Good luck in your quest to rescue the
soul of the country. By the way, are you sure that's not a windmill
you're tilting at?
